Since 2018, the Open Space platform, curated by Eva Khachatryan was created to present contemporary art through new media within the AAF framework

2022

Open Space takes a new approach every year. The last edition was online, due to the pandemic and the impossibility of exhibiting in the physical space. This year being focused on installation art we used also an outdoor area of Mergelyan Institute and Yerevan Expo, to present installation projects related to the space, history and context of the Mergelyan Institute. Participating artists are Katharina Maderthaner, Rebecca Konforti, Romain Ruiz Pacouret and Megan Young.
